As our Quality Coordinator, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our quality management systems and processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to quality standards, drive process improvements, and foster a culture of quality. Your attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced care environment will be crucial to your success in this role.
Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and guidelines in accordance with aged care industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with various departments to establish quality objectives, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and track progress toward quality goals.
Monitor and analyse quality metrics, preparing reports and presenting findings to management, highlighting trends and suggesting improvement strategies.
Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging quality management trends, recommending and implementing relevant updates to our quality systems.
Manage and supervise one team member
Qualifications and Skills:
- Relevant qualifications in health, management, quality or related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in quality control/assurance roles, preferably in an aged care or health service-oriented environment.
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills including the ability to build effective relationships to achieve desired outcomes.
- A consultative approach to problem solving and the ability to get things done.
- Demonstrated high level written communication skills including previous experience developing policy related documents and high-level report writing.
The following will be highly regarded;
- Demonstrated knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and operational guidelines
- Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or other relevant certifications or studying toward
